Rouge National Urban Park Welcome Areas Opening

Opening weekend for Parks Canada welcome areas. Two locations for Rouge National Urban Park: Zoo Road Welcome Area (near the Toronto Zoo) and Reesor North Welcome Area (Markham, 10725 Reesor Rd.)

To celebrate opening weekend, both welcome areas (Zoo Road and Reesor North) will host family friendly activities all weekend long, including airbrush tattoos, a scavenger hunt and appearances by Parka, the Parks Canada mascot!

Visitors can also pick up their free 2017 Parks Canada Discovery Pass, which allows you to take advantage of free admission to Canada’s national parks, national historic sites and national marine conservation areas for the entire year. Staff also have colouring sheets and kids Xplorer activity booklets to give out – so definitely stop by and say hello!
