David Chilton Interview and Book Give Away

Wednesday Jan 25, 2012 by Tracie Wagman

I recently had the pleasure of interviewing David Chilton, author of The Wealthy Barber and The Wealthy Barber Returns. I first met David at a media preview at Indigo and he struck me as smart without taking himself too seriously. Plus, the man knows how to help us save our money. I'm all for that. For a man with boundless energy, vim and vigor, it's interesting to note that he's NEVER had a sip of coffee or wine. I know, amazing right?

Besides family or work, what are you most passionate about?

My hockey pool and the Detroit Tigers.

If you had your personal motto printed on a t-shirt, what would it say?

Cheer up.

What is one piece of helpful advice you can give to parents?

Nothing more important than the family dinner.

If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?

I'd be younger. Much.

Tell us about one of your hidden talents.

I can play "Happy Birthday" on my teeth.

What is one thing people would be surprised to know about you?

I'm a loner.

Describe the perfect day.

Wouldn't want one as no where to go but down from there.

Ok, fess up....what is your guilty pleasure?

A & W

List five things you would need to survive, if stranded on a deserted island.

Nibs, 3 friends, sunscreen.

How would you describe yourself in three words?

Apparently, very succinct.

I was taught about money from my mom, and myself. It's a long road to "figuring it all out", but I'm willing. (*@^@*)
