 Specialty & Personalized Books

Kids can all learn to love reading- it may take a bit of time and trial and error to find something that really excites them but they will find something if you keep trying. Don't worry if that perfect book is not one that is your cup of tea; it is more important THAT they read; WHAT they read shouldn't matter too much. The knowledgeable staff at your local bookstore is very experienced about how to find something to pique the interest of even the most stubborn non-readers.

Don't forget to check the Specialty and Personalized books section for great ideas for yourself or gifts.

You can also visit the Toronto Public Library - the largest public library system in Canada, with 99 branches and more than 11 million items to borrow or use in the library. Did you know that the library has homework help for kids as well as help for parents and teachers too?

Each library has its own programs - check the website: www.tpl.Toronto.on.ca for those at a library near you.. There is also a central information and Quick Reference phone line to tell you where various branches are, lending practices, reference info, etc. (416) 393-7131.
