There are loads of things for kids and families to do in Toronto including family outings like conservation areas and farms, attractions & events. The GTA has world recognized museums and galleries, several of which have recently re-opened after major renovations to great acclaim. Toronto also has many exciting sports teams: the Toronto Blue Jays, the Toronto Raptors, the Toronto Maple Leafs, as well as professional lacrosse teams, minor league hockey, soccer... something for every kid in every season. Toronto has excellent and well maintained historical sites which can show you and your children how life used to be or take one of many scenic or historical train rides offered.
For those of you who prefer outdoor fun, take your kids to one of the seasonal activities including maple syrup festivals and lots of fun visiting Toronto's many farms.
